Kim Saunders, East Port Properties Limited, welcomed into WorkplaceNL’s CEO Safety Charter

St. John’s, NL WorkplaceNL announced today that Kim Saunders, Property Manager, Eastport Properties Limited, has been inducted into its CEO Safety Charter. Saunders is the 64th business leader since 2007 to become a signatory to the CEO Safety Charter.

“We are very pleased to welcome East Port Properties and Kim Saunders into the CEO Safety Charter,” said Leslie Galway, Chief Executive Officer, WorkplaceNL. “Kim and her team understand the importance of safety in challenging work environments. Safety is everyone’s responsibility, and safety-minded leaders help develop stronger safety cultures throughout their operations.”  

The CEO Safety Charter’s mandate is to support the continuous improvement of healthy and safe workplaces throughout the province. As ambassadors for safer workplaces, signatories have demonstrated their commitment to preventing injuries and promoting a healthy and safe workplace.

“I am very pleased to accept this honour on behalf of our employees at East Port Properties,” said Kim Saunders, East Port Properties. “Not only does safety protect our employees, it also helps to protect our tenants.
