Annual Employer Statements web service for Employers, Accountants and Bookkeepers
Employers can submit their Annual Employer Statements (AES) online through connect. An online service is also available for accounting and bookkeeping companies for submitting these statements.
There are three ways to submit online:
- Choose fastfile if your organization does not have a connect account. You need your employer payroll statement for your access code and other required information.
- If your organization already has a connect account, simply log on to connect. Contact your in-house firm administrator if you do not already have a user name and password.
- Accounting and bookkeeping companies can submit their clients’ statements online using a single login account.
The deadline for reporting has passed, however, employers can still submit their statements online.
Enhanced connect feature - Remember this Device
Connect can remember your trusted device for a 90-day period. The verification process will prompt you with a "Remember this device" check box. Check this box if you do not want to enter a verification code each time you sign-in to connect from that device.
This option only works when you have individual Microsoft Windows Accounts on the same device. The browser must also be configured to save cookies.

Updated security for ESRTW analysis tool
Our ESRTW analysis tool displays information on all accepted WorkplaceNL claims for your organization. To ensure the privacy of ESRTW information within your organization, current default access to this service has been limited to Firm Administrators (FA) and Related Firm Administrator Delegates (RFAD). These Administrators have the ability to grant access to any applicable users who require access to this analysis tool in your organization. Having trouble viewing connect?
Please make sure you have TLS 1.2 checked in your Internet Options,
located on the Advanced tab. Ensure you click OK after making the change.
2017 Employer Assessment Rates are now available online
Employers can now view their 2017 assessment rate and rate letter online under Reports and Statistics.
New forwarding function for Form 7 and ESRTW plans
You asked we’ve listened: New connect functionality to forward the Employer Report of Injury (Form 7) and Early and Safe Return to Work (ESRTW) plans to specific users within your organization.
Avail of this new functionality to ensure the privacy of your worker’s personal information by providing access to specific sections of Form 7 and ESRTW plans. Users can then forward, return or reassign Form 7 or ESRTW plans to other users within your organization that have access to these services.

New enhanced connect security features
At WorkplaceNL, we are continuously working to enhance the security of the connect online system. We have now implemented a new one-time verification process when you login to connect.
What to do
Login as usual to connect with your username and password. You will be prompted to enter your email address. It must be a unique, separate email address for each person using connect.
We will then send you an email to confirm your address. Once confirmed, you will receive a second email with a verification code to complete your initial connect login. It’s that easy!
Enhancements also include increased user management functionality and an updated visual look for connect.
